My name is Heyward, and I’m a professional portrait, wedding, and event photographer. I’ve enjoyed taking pictures ever since my parents bought my first film camera over 40 years ago. When friends and family started requesting photos, I turned toward fine tuning my skills and broadening my audience. Now, I’ve been a professional photographer for over 25 years.
As a lifelong learner, I enjoy studying photography techniques to create timeless, distinguished, and distinctive images. My photography education includes independent study and formal photography training with a mentor, Mr. Philip Mauro, a professional portrait photographer in Brooklyn, NY.
When I started shooting professionally, film was the only option. Today, digital photography is the standard. However, I will use film if a client requests it. Please view my photo gallery, and contact me for a free consultation.
In addition to photography, I hold university degrees in mathematics and am a full–stack web developer, meeting the needs of small business owners. I coded this website by hand.
